Shipping is a very important means of transport. In its best it is an environmentally friendly, efficient and safe way of transporting goods and people. However, there are many problems connected to shipping. Both from the exhaust gases from the engines and due to difficulty of waste treatment out at sea. Many of these impacts could be reduced with the help of technology. In this section we present possible solutions to some of the adversities with shipping.
